About

Bent On Love was started in September 2015, originally set up as a safe space for me to anonymously embrace writing. I wanted to practice writing, share short stories and with the long term goal of getting to a standard that I could be published.

The name Bent on Love, was to suggest having a mad for love for the world, with my writing, with my nature walks, in learning and all the while being a little bit cheeky.

I create digital art, illustrations, learning to take photographs, build things, draw and spend time either riding my bike or walking through national parks and beaches. I am influenced by the many emotional experiences and environments I am exposed to.

Where I am taking this blog: I would like to join it up with my YouTube channel where I do time-lapses of my drawings. I will keep this blog as a space to write my short and sum what bizarre short stories. And also have sections for my illustrations, photography and things that I build.

Here is a link to a few things I have created recently that can be purchased at Redbubble.com Stickers, tote bags, and other goodies

Enjoy reading,  Always smiling,

  3. Hello there!

My name is Andrew Butcher, I used to post regularly on my blog called ‘You Never Know What You’re Going to Get Here’ on WordPress.com.

I am sending you this message because at one time or another you have expressed very kind interest in my blog by following it (for which I very much thank you!), and I’d just like to let you know, (simply in case you’d be interested), I now have a different blog on my own website!

Some of my more recent, and likely final, posts on my WordPress blog, expressed that I was hoping to both try and be self employed, and release an anthology of some sort of my work. I have managed to make that happen! There was difficulty, but I now have an anthology out entitled ‘A Leap of Faith’, of 36 different poetic pieces. Some of them you may have read before and already expressed interest in, others you will not have seen as they were previously unpublished works.

If you’d still like to follow my work, my new blog, or would like to check out the anthology and learn more about what I do, you can find me on my new website thewordsy-smith.com.

Thank you so much for your interest, and for taking the time to read this,

    Take care,

    Andrew Butcher.
