I picked a bunch of olives of the tree in the backyard and with the help of the internet set about attempting to cure the olives I had collected. Which basically involved salt and water.
There are many recipes and methods on “how to do it right” but a lot of them need to be taken with a grain of salt – pun intended.
After a month they now taste like olives, though some have turned to mush and others just taste bitter. what did I do wrong? I do not know. 😦 (sad face)
